About This Project

Women throughout history have broken the rules and stepped outside conventional social norms to make history happen. We investigate several women who stand out as the rebels of their time.

A Beautiful World is a solutions journalism news program that focuses on inspirational stories and ideas from around the globe. “Rebels, Renegades and Wild Women” celebrates Women’s History Month with stories of powerful women throughout history:  Susan B. Anthony;  animal rights activist Dr. Jane Goodall; National Geographic photographer Annie Griffiths, Gender Rights activist and actor Geena Davis, authors Elena Favilli and Francesca Cavallo, who created the “Rebel Girls” series.
