Arctic explorer Ann Bancroft was the first woman to reach the North Pole by dogsled. Here she recounts her momentous journey and speaks about following your dreams, shoving aside your fears and going for it. She also reads from the journal she had with her on her expedition and recounts the beauty and grandeur of sitting on top of the world, where all longitudes meet, and she felt both utterly alone and completely connected to everyone in the world. Here she talks to Heather McElhatton live onstage and reads from the journal she had with her on her epic adventure to the North Pole.
